Miss Massey Newsletter

Today is Ms. Cathcart's birthday! We spent time yesterday painting and decorating our own pieces of paper. Our picture was put on the paper, along with a birthday wish. We put all of our papers together to make a big very special birthday book. This morning we took the card to Ms. Cathcart and gave her lots of hugs!

Thank you so much for all you do, Ms. Cathcart. You have a very caring and wonderful heart! We hope you have a great birthday! You deserve only the best!

Yesterday Mrs. Meengs Kindergarten class came to visit in our classroom. We read the book Dont Call Me Special by Pat Thomas.  This book explores questions and concerns about physical disabilities in a simple and reassuring way. We talked about how everybody is different and unique. Kindergarten students were able to ask questions and socialize with friends in our class. After spending time together in the classroom, Mrs. Meengs class joined our class outside for recess.  Students loved having our new Kindergarten friends play with and push them on the swings.

Welcome to Miss Massey's Class website! We are very excited to have our new web page up and running. It has already started out to be a fantastic school year. We will be using this web page to share anything that we do in class from our work and crafts to important information.
