This week the students began working on some fall activities. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday ,the students put together pumpkin potato heads. The class had a lesson over different body parts. All of the pumpkin parts were placed in the middle of the table and students had to locate the requested part and point to that body part on their own body. Once the students located the part, they were to place the part into the pumpkin. The students really enjoyed putting these pumpkins together.

Students also did an activity with leaves. Students collected leaves at their house and brought them into school.  We talked about how many different color leaves there are in the fall. The students found different color leaves on the table, sorted them, and glued them to their paper. After they finished the activity, some of the students wanted to glue the remainder of the leaves to another sheet of paper to make a leave collage.
Thank you to all parents who helped your child collect leaves for this activity.
